The St Johns Centre is a versatile space for arts, music and cultural events.

The beautiful former church is much loved by the Blackburn community and is now used for a whole range of events.

Available for hire it has seen everything from cabaret life drawing sessions to live music concerts, art exhibitions to pop up open studios

Getting here



By car

St Johns Centre is behind Blackburn Town Hall opposite the entrance to the Mall car park. The Mall car park will not be open at this time however Blackburn town centre has numerous parking spaces including street parking, open and multi-story car parks. All council operated car parks are FREE after 3pm everyday and FREE all day Saturday.

By Train

St Johns is less than a ten minute walk from Blackburn Train Station. Blackburn is served by regular direct trains from Preston, Colne, Burnley, Nelson, Clitheroe, Accrington, Burnley, Blackpool, Bolton, Salford, Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and York. Train services to Blackburn are operated by Northern Rail and you can visit their website here

By Bus

Blackburn Bus Station is accessible from Ainsworth Street and direct buses are available from Accrington, Darwen, Burnley, Clitheroe, Preston, Bolton, Chorley and Manchester. You can search for your bus routes and times by visiting Traveline Northwest
